Overcoming Discomfort

POSITIVE REMINDERS.

We all go through those times of confusion, fuss, questions of what is going on in our life, and faith. It's normal to have thoughts that are trying to pull you back. The mind is always distracting the soul of its truest desires. In order to come back and find clarity, you must connect to your breath, the stillness and silence that it holds, all the YOU that is. You must overcome these thoughts to succeed and feel your purpose grow.

Personally, I think it is some of the best moments in ones life when this overcoming happens. That is when the power of word and faith have their time to play. Speaking good words to yourself, kindly reminding that everything will always be okay. You have endured certain struggles and sacrifice to reach your dreams. This is where you learn and grow! It is damn beautiful.

Knowing that where you are now is not where you want to be in the future is already a step in the right direction to get where you want to go. Have faith that everything is always working our for you. Trust that you are exactly where you're meant to be doing exactly what you're meant to be doing.

I was told these words throughout my yoga teacher training and I have repeated it to myself many times as I face challenges. I know things are clearing up and pushing me in the right direction towards my goals, even if it is not the way I had imagined. I know I will be there one day, and I will watch as my dreams are hand crafted with the universe.

When I start to think too much...

I am in the right place, following my passions, enjoying every step of the journey. I feel that, deep down inside. You have to. And I trust this swirly dance of life is taking me to my dreams. It will never stop.
