Bukit Mornings


The moment I saw the beach my heart started to slow down.

I was greeted with turquoise water and a quiet shore.

Walking in the water I enjoyed the warm sun.

I smiled as I moved across the rocks.

My mind was focused and it felt good to be alive.

I finally had the time to calm my thoughts and enjoy being alone in the silence of nature.

Finding a spot in the shade I sat and stared.

Watching the waves crash into the rocks.

Water drained from the sand and rushed back in.

The sound instantly soothed my thoughts and made me remember what it’s like to be one.

Connected to all the life around me and connecting the mind and breath with movement. That is one, a fluid togetherness.
